My heart is sad with the passing of Al. Al was a real champion in this world. I was proud to have known him. I always enjoyed my visits to Dubuque, which included a visit to see Al and Vi.
Al will be missed.

My sympathy to you Vi and all the family . Uncle Al used to visit us when I was a little girl in St. Pau and stayed with us when he there on business and I remember riding along with him and Vi sometimes to New Vienna when they visited. It was always fun and an opportunity to get to know them better since we lived so far away. Our love and prayers. John and Anitab

To someone I didn't know but only through his wonderful daughter Sally her husband Dave and their two children Tatiana and John. Thank you for sharing this with me in my life and thank you for your service.

Condolences to you and your family. Thoughts and prayers sent your way. He was always a blessing to be around when he would come visit my Grandma Arlene Southwell.

Sorry to hear about Al, he was a very nice man in the small amount of time I got to spend with him. I do know he had a long and good life.
